New Glamour + Holy Ghost! Remixes Curses!
Though I’m not sure how I feel about NME’s blog (I was a fan until they inexplicably called the new Mr. Oizo album “unlistenable”), I fully support their ability to get labels to clear tracks for them to post. Exhibit A: a Holy Ghost! remix of “The Deep End” (the latest effort from the remarkable Curses!). As can be expected, it’s silky smooth and 100% delightful.

And though those are two big, big names in the game, I’m a bit more excited about the Glamour’s two new cuts. The Wisconsin dudes were featured in one of the first Panda Toes posts, they were blog’s first interview, etc. Anyways, for some reason or another they’ve split ways with Calamity Jane, but of course that doesn’t mean that the boys are calling it quits. “Rubbin’ and Bumpin’” is a quirky track that both veers from the typical Glamour ways instrumentally while keeping it all familiar lyrically. Needless to say, I’m a supporter. Thanks to IHEARTCOMIX and be sure to scoot over there for yet another new Glamour tune.

Phew. Two quality songs right there, no?
Cheers! And yeah WTF to NME’s comments about Lambs Anger. It’s def one of Richard and my favorites of 2008!
